Adronious Actual ground breaking legend. He's actually super sweet, even tho his music scares the normies. Favorite track: Devil's Plumajillo.

  • Limited Edition "Frondescence" CD Bundle (2015)
Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

Rather than releasing as many hard copies of my new album as possible and throwing them at unsuspecting passerby, I wanted to address the entire situation as an artistic release. There are only 100 hard copies being released, and the first 52 are spoken for. Here's why:

Each album is cased in a 100% recycled post-consumer eco sleeve. Plants are important, and I wanted to do everything I can to help preserve them and the planet that houses them. From there, each case is individually hand stamped (by me) with my custom made f-ether logo ink stamp. From there I hand-numbered each case as it was pressed (i.e.; x/100 depending on the order in which it was made). I then hand wrote my name, the album name, and all of the track names on the case to add a personal, handmade touch to each album. Each cd comes autographed and numbered on both the case and album artwork inside. The bundle also includes a sticker, a wildflower seed packet, and a digital download code for you to gift to a friend to download/stream my album through the bandcamp site.

I can not stress enough that each album was assembled, written on, and designed by me personally. Seriously, I put a lot of work into these little babies to make them everything I had envisioned. From the design of the logo itself to pouring a bunch of seeds into a baggie so that you can plant them in the spring, I created, deigned, and assembled these 100 cds. With that being said, every cd bundle is unique; some have accidental scribbles, some have an unnecessary stamp, and some have extra little notes from me. Seriously, as the numbers count up you can see where my marker began to run out of ink and wear down (until about #74, where I decided it was time to change the marker). That's how awesome this is. Each cd and bundle is an individual art piece, and once all 100 versions are sold they will no longer be available.

This is about as DIY as it gets, and I absolutely loved every minute of working on them. I think the amount of love I poured into each bundle rivals the amount of love I put into each song on the "Frondescence" album.

I wanted to share something personal and unique with you, and this is absolutely that.

    Enjoy.

about

Frondescence
Foliage; the act of putting forth new leaves or flowers

“To put it in the simplest and least flattering terms: this is an album about plants. This project began as the combination of an abstract idea and the desire to create something entirely different from what I know. Paranomastically, it grew into something more. This album is not just a collection of compositions expressing the literal ideas, metaphysical properties, historical connotations, and cultural significance of each of the plants themselves. It is a depiction of the many states of consciousness. It is the nostalgia and euphoria that come with knowing something your whole life as much as it is an object that symbolizes so many different concepts and emotions. Each track was planted, fostered, raised and harvested in its own way and on its own time. This album may only be an impassioned, synesthetic portrayal of foliage on the surface, but I can promise you that it is so much more than that.”
